Anyway, I'm not eating QOD anymore, since I'm at target weight, although my weight has crept up a bit.

However, I do find that if I avoid sugar, pretty much completely, getting any sweetness I need from 1 fresh fruit a day (Bosc pear), I don't get a false carb-hunger.

I've switched from Kefir to Lactaid milk (to avoid acidity, since my teeth are getting sensitive), and I stick to 2%. One food I eat fairly regularly is a small (really small, desert-style) bowl of cereal. It's very hard to find breakfast cereal with 0 sugar. Corn flakes has 2 grams. Cheerios is OK. I think 1 gram, and then Kashi has a nice 7 puffed whole grain cereal with 0 g. Then mini shredded wheats are fine with 0 g. Sweeten with Splenda and cinnamon.

For someone eating QOD, not sure if this would be an OFF-day or ON-day food. But it's good stuff.
